Satana

This is Satana

Satan is born in Belfast to a Catholic mother and a Protestant father. His childhood is marked by external and familial conflicts. The perpetual difficulty in making decisions or taking a well defined standpoint on certain matters relegates his adolescence to immobility.

At 17 years of age, struck by a performance/a viewing of “Billy Elliot” he flees to London to pursue a dream of becoming an Étoile of the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.

Then at 24, lightning struck again, this time with “Saturday Night Fever”, whereupon he moves to New York city to follow his dream of becoming a dancer at Studio54.

After a difficult first year, working odd jobs as a waiter and then as a model, he finally manages to become a dancer at Studio54, thanks to a stormy yet short lived affair with a famous actress who introduces him to Steve Rubell.

During the years at Studio54 he also frequents Andy Warhol’s Factory where, thanks to the dedicated attention of the “master”, makes inroads in the art world.

After the parenthetical period at Studio54 he finds himself vague and directionless, with a strong cocaine addiction.

Thus begins a turbulent period in which he closes himself within a world of paranoia, loneliness and addiction.

He hits rock bottom during an Air concert where he collapses in the bathroom of the venue in the throes of withdrawal.

He decides to clean himself up and reinvent himself by doing a degree in Social Sciences at Columbia University.

During his studies he becomes passionate about the markets and finance.

He becomes a broker.

Again, falls into cocaine abuse.

He decides to get clean and reinvent himself once more, this time with a Master’s degree in Art and Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology.

He crosses the pond and takes residence in Avignon, France.

He finds inspiration again in art and music while continuing to cultivate his passion for markets and finance.

In 2006 in a bar in Caracas he meets his current associate, John, with whom he begins a long journey of artistic and entrepreneurial collaboration.

Today that collaboration has led to the birth of the brand WallStreetPunk.

“John and I are certainly not people who do things in a hurry”
